Legendary Scottish soccer club Celtic is planning a foray into very lucrative English Premier League. It has been reported that UEFA is flexible for discussions with the club in their recent mission to finding an escape avenue out of Scot football.
UEFA’s nod into discussions with Celtic has been confirmed by Gianni Infantino, the general secretary.
Former Manchester United goalkeeper Roy Carroll says that the club has lost their fighting spirit under the new management of David Moyes. The club have been struggling with poor form for most of this season, and it looks to be their worst for a long time.
They are in danger of missing out on Champions League football for next season after languishing seventh in the table with only 10 matches remaining in the season. Their main competitors for the top four places – Liverpool – are closer to the table leaders Chelsea rather than Manchester United.
