CARRICK BACKS HODGSON

Manchester United midfielder Michael Carrick has said that the England national team needs a manager like Sir Alex Ferguson in order to achieve success. England have been devoid of success in winning the World Cup in 1966.

In recent decades, England have failed to progress past the quarter-final stage of a major tournament.

EXPECT MORE

Manchester United star Wayne Rooney has said that people can expect more from him in the future, as there is scope for a lot of improvement in his game. Wayne Rooney has just scored his 30th league goal of the season.

He is set to become the major factor for Manchester United in the race for winning the 20th Premier league title.

However, he was criticised by Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson after the 4-0 win over Aston Villa that Rooney should not be casual during the matches. Rooney responded by saying that there is still scope for improvement in his game.
